Tomorrow is the day to express our thanks/gratitude for everything nice in our lives. As usual, I dont think we need to have a designated day to be thankful, so here it is a day early! I’m thankful for this wonderful life, full of family and friends who’ve always helped me move forward, I’m thankful for the wisdom to know the right path, and courage to walk that path. I’m thankful for the love and affection of our dear ones, esp. my wife, Nidhi, who really is the better half!

I’m thankful for my wonderful mother, who set the example for dedication to work and helping others. I’m thankful for my father, who has given me some of his brains…

On a lighter note, I’m thankful for Mr. Gates, whose vision has brought us all closer on the web and help us keep our distance from the weird people in real life. I’m thankful for Mr. Jobs, who showed us how to do it right, and provide moron with “Genius” t-shirts so they can feel superior over others, and feel better about themselves at the same time!

I’m thankful for Mr. Tata who bought the LandRover-Jaguar, So that now I’m a proud owner of an Indian owned vehicle in US!!

I’m thankful for the Nobel Committee to show us this year that a Noble Prize is something anyone can get these days, as long as you dress up nice, have a better vocabulary, and know how to promise more than you can deliver!

I’m thankful for White Chocolate Macademia Nut Cookies and Roasted Chicken Breast Sandwich at Subway, which is around at each corner and has sustained me for the past 10 years. What would I do without you, but then I can always go to Quiznos!

I’m thankful to Mr. Zuckerberg who created FB, so that a common man can have a virtual farm (instead of sweating to maintain a real one), have an aquarium, become a mob boss, to know the real meaning of their name, or to know that they’re name is the only one in the world, send their friends virtual gifts and not spend a pretty penny doing it!

I’m thankful to Mr. Dorsey’s idea of creating Twitter and limiting it to less than 140 characters. Now we can share even the minute details of our mundane life with everyone , and make it appealing for the other to believe that theirs is so much better than ours.

I’m thankful to Ms. Palin for “going rogue”, else we would have never known what is in store for all of us in america, if she became the president some day!

I’m thankful to ABC for airing “The Big Bang Theory” and giving recognition to all the geeks and nerds out there, and to feel accepted!.

I’m thankful to Mr. Abrams, for keeping “Lost” such a mystery, that even after five seasons, we don’t know what the heck’s going on.

I’m thankful for freedom we enjoy in this great country, how else can a boss who accepts it on air, that he repeatedly had sex with women who works for him, on his show, and still keeps his job, and open his show to an applauding crowd every night!! Never underestimate the power of “stupid” network executives. It would be so disgusting otherwise.

I’m thankful for all the pharmaceutical, alcoholic drinks and food commercials between TV shows, how else would we know of our choices on being a couch-potato, being over-weight, depressed and drunk!!

I’m just so thankful, and a whole lot of people to thank, but I have to get back to work.
